Insolvency - What are the options?
If you or your business is in financial difficulties, creditors are pressing for payment and insolvency is on the horizon, our highly specialised Insolvency team may be able to help. The earlier you seek professional advice about insolvency, the more likely a rescue or turnaround strategy can be put into place.
Why talk to us?
As qualified Insolvency practitioners, we are authorised by the relevant regulatory bodies and have established, long term working relationships with the banks and financial institutions, which may be called upon to affect a business rescue. More importantly, our judgement and advice is based on many years of experience, and our approach is both positive and practical.
"When a company or an individual faces

Even when a company is placed into formal insolvency proceedings
all is not lost. We will first look to see if there is anything
that can be done to preserve the business and jobs. The rescue
procedure may involve:
- Administrative Receivership
- Administration
- Company Voluntary Arrangement
- Turnaround and restructuring

If it is not possible to save the business, the final option is liquidation, which is a terminal process for a company.

In these circumstances you need expert, objective advice, and our highly qualified team can give it. Following a free initial consultation, every effort will be made to stave off bankruptcy by means of an Individual Voluntary Arrangement or Partnership Voluntary Arrangement with creditors. Where it is not possible to avoid bankruptcy we will give advice to that effect.

- Personal injury claim
- Contractual dispute
- Insurance claim
- Contested business loss
- Matrimonial dispute
- Professional negligence claim
- Fraud investigation
In such cases we can work with your lawyer to study and interpret the facts of the case in a professional manner. Often our early involvement can result in the matter being settled out of court.
If there is a need to litigate, we can:
Provide the necessary information and documentation to support your case
Produce valuations in support of a claim
Act as an expert witness in court
